Save the Date — Potential Block Party!
We’re in the early stages of planning a Block Party for Friday, September 6th (date and time still to be confirmed).
The idea is to bring neighbors together for a fun, casual event with food, music, games, and community connection. Whether you're interested in helping plan, volunteering day-of, or just showing up to enjoy the festivities — we'd love for you to be involved!

We'll be planning both our Fall Plant Swap and a September Block Party — come share your ideas and get involved!
Please note: The backyard is not ADA accessible (there are stairs to enter the yard).
FOOGI Family Fishing Festival
Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Now is your chance! We are partnering with MassWildlife Angler Education Program. Learn the basics or fish on your own. This is a family friendly event open to all skill levels. No license needed and bait provided. Rain date will be same time Sunday, June 22, 2025.

Join Us for FOOGI's June Monthly Meeting & Family Fishing Festival Planning!
FOOGI invites you to our virtual monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 18 at 6:30 PM. We'll be finalizing plans for the FOOGI Family Fishing Festival, happening Saturday, June 21 at 9:00 AM at Fellsmere Pond.
Interested in volunteering? You’re welcome to join the virtual meeting or simply arrive the day of the event! Volunteers can check in at 8:30 AM on June 21 at the pond. Roles include handing out bait, reading The Rainbow Fish (donated by Malden Reads), assisting at the photo booth, and more.

FOOGI Plant Swap
Plant Swaps are a fun way to share any plants you may want to divide or just give away (perennial divisions, extra seedlings, annuals, houseplants, seeds, bulbs, etc).
April FOOGI Monthly Meeting
Please come join us Wednesday, April 16th at Starbucks on 30 Commercial Street, Malden. We have our Plant Swap event in May and Family Fishing Festival in June and will need volunteers. In addition we are looking to bring back a block party in September. We hope to see you there!

We are getting back into the swing of holding in person monthly meetings. Please come join us Wednesday, February 19th at Starbucks on 30 Commercial Street Malden. We have our Family Fishing Festival in April and Plant Swap in May and will need volunteers. In addition looking to bring back a block party in September.
